Check the "per capita" numbers. A lot of the disparity is simply how much bigger the USA is than most other countries.
Of course now all the various state and local governments are competing for trillions in emergency funds, so don't assume the US numbers aren't overstated.
True, but you're comparing total global population only to populations reporting covid related deaths. Think about how many countries there are that aren't reporting anything at all.
Rather than taking the US' share of the world's population, compare it only to the population of countries that are represented in the total covid death reports. Also, if you're excluding China's numbers because they're unreliable, then you must also exclude China's population from your percentage of total population figure. That's a billion people that you're representing in the denominator but not in the numerator.
But you didn't exclude China when you figured the USA's percentage of total world population. That's 4.25% of the world's population including China and all other countries that aren't tracking or reporting deaths due to the virus. So when you say we're "over represented" by percentage of deaths compared to percentage of global population, you're not comparing like data.
Remove China and the USA has 5.2 percent of the remaining population. That's just one country, and already we've reduced the perceived disparity by nearly ten percent. Remove all other countries that aren't reporting, and the disparity practically disappears.
You answered your own question. We have the best system, able to detect the virus most accurately, and we're also the most honest when it comes to numbers.
there is a little hyperbole in the gun shot part. but yes, the reporting is so very loose that it is more than likely. a less hyperbolic reason would be a person succumbing to a chronic issue and testing positive.
Comparing World and US numbers introduce extraneous variables such as countries that don't report or don't have cases. A better comparison would be Europe vs US numbers as neither have unknown variables that exist in these two areas.
After the age of ,like, 60 Americans typically dont do much of anything except sit at work, sit at home and go out to eat from time to time. 10+ years of not going outside, not taking care of yourself and generally doing jack shit, and a soar throat can take these people out. By the time you factor in things like retirement and facts like most of the American elderly are kept alive by 1st class living conditions, blind luck and pills, ANY sickness that alters the routine is gonna post up points.
This will read harshly, but being old, barely alive and terrified of 'the end' for 20+ years in America is an easy thing to do.
Increasing counting of other deaths as WuFlu.
All deaths are being counted as wuflu. 👆

Italy and China are lying the asses off.
North Korea too
No they are both under reporting.

Again, honesty.
Also, anyone who dies with COVID is listed as a COVID death. Probably could die in a plane crash and they'd still be credited as a COVID death.
WHO hates America.
cause of death is automatically labeled as CCP Virus if they test positive. get shot and have CCP? you died of CCP.

US deaths from other diseases and sicknesses are being counted to make the situation look more dire than it is.
