I went out shopping (NOT grocery) tonight and it's the best I've felt in weeks. Do not let fear win.
Until they close Target I'm going to try to feel as normal as possible. It helps. I bought a beautiful dress I have no place to wear and it felt amazing.

Remember the Tea Party. They did not ask permission of the local authorities before they dumped the tea in the harbor. Do it and then videotape the authorities shutting you down again. Target is essential, I'm calling it now. Actually our entire economy is essential and there is NO legal basis to shut down a whole community. Glad you are able to enjoy living!

Wonderful. People working in clothing stores need support too! In SC, I notice a huge amount of people going to Lowes/Home Depot. People are taking the opportunity to go outside and improve their houses or lawns instead of sit indoors and be miserable.

I went to Lowe's and bought a trailer hitch, got a uhaul and made runs to the landfill all day today. Fuck the lockdown do what you want. You're an American.
Wear the dress to the grocery store. I've started dressing up after I read something about a Miss something or other County winner who complained she didn't have anywhere to wear her dress, crown and sash to, so she just started wearing it to the grocery store. It's a morale booster!

I got easter crap for my kid from target 3 days ago... they were above and beyond.
Solitary confinement is a form of torture. I'm as introverted as they come but I still need to interact with other humans. This quarantine WILL make some people lose it eventually.
Good for you, we bought Easter stuff at Target yesterday, went to a butcher and a wine store. Was great to get out, and only half the people out with their paranoia masks.
