It says that 1150 people have died from COVID 19, 469 from COVID 19 AND pneumonia, and 24,741 from pneumonia alone....

Ever notice a positive correlation 📈 between number of people sick or dead and states ruled by Democrats?

This data is way behind. There are 52 deaths in AZ today and they didn't all happen since Friday.

Yes, it says right at the CDC site:

"COVID-19 death counts shown here may differ from other published sources, as data currently are lagged by an average of 1–2 weeks."

BTW you arent winning an argument here because there isnt one. If you think youre proving someone or something wrong, youre not. The link is there for a reason and I have said nothing one way or the other about it. Lets not act like we are on Reddit still eh?

You should read the text on the CDC website in the link provided in the comments.

I did, and was commenting on that. This is the CDC working "at top speed" as usual. Thanks for being reasonable.

I dont really think you did at all.

Pnemonia covers a damn lot of ground and a whole lot of cofactors. Let's see how the data evolves. I don't do prepubescent lines of argument.

It kind of seems like you do since you're buying mainstream media's big city portrayal wholesale.

Or did you forget about this one?

I wonder why it's so bad in the big cities?

Sorry, I'm not buying any of this data atm. Without a baseline infection number, everything else is SWAGs.

So- how many of those just pneumonia deaths were tested? Either before OR AFTER dying?

Without a hard in writing statement on that group MINIMUM I'm not buying the "just estimate it and claim hard numbers" CDC data as accurate.

So who's data are you buying as accurate?

Did you know that virtually every other illness is estimated? Even H1N1 was. If you dont buy the estimates now, logic says you dont buy any of them. If you do buy any of them, youre now in contradiction and have no rhyme or reason as to why you dont believe this particular set of numbers.

Im also going to remind you once more that we arent debating anything here. I posted data from the CDC, a link to the page, and that is all. You can do what you will with it. I have no horse in the race and whatever conclusion you want to come to is fine with me.

I will however, point out flaws in your logic without taking a side.

Lastly, you can read the article for yourself instead of interrogating me about it. I am fairly certain all of the questions you have can be answered by reading it instead of trying to argue about it.
