I'm a data person, not a medical person, so take this how you like.

Test results you see today are tests taken 3-5 days ago. Tests taken 3-5 days ago are from people who were exposed 5-14 days before that. Now you have rapid tests with results today mixed with those form days ago creating a type of bubble. It is very likely we have peaked, and the only reason we don't see it in the numbers is because of the way the numbers are generated.

If I am right, this time next week we will be half or a third of the daily totals we see today.
