Been saying it for a long time now and I still stand by it - the economic repercussions of all of this, all of the fallout caused by this endless media hype and all these people furiously jerking off to this fear porn, will bring the US economy to its knees and will cause something that rivals (if not surpasses) the Great Depression. Unemployment numbers hitting 20%, foreclosures left and right, banks that are terrified to lend money and will up their standards of application vetting to degrees many will fail to match, landlords that will hunker down on their properties and show little flexibility, business after business after business closing doors... It's going to rock this nation to its core.
And all because people are too fucking retarded to recognize that it's not going to the the apocalypse if they go out and patronize a restaurant, if they go to some Nobody Gives a Shit store and buy random crap, or if they just live their life. From an article I read the other day from WSJ, it sounds like only Sweden is taking a somewhat smart approach to this in terms of not sacrificing their economic freedom (which, don't kid yourself, FULLY translates into real freedom and power for that nation and its people) on the altar of "public health".
Be smart, don't go and cough in the face of an old person, don't sneeze into your hand and go out shaking hands with everyone at the nearby hospital, places like essential stores should dictate hours for those that are more susceptible and places like retirement homes should heavily restrict visitors and do screenings, but what governors have done in state after state after state - all with constituents mindlessly cheering them on - will ripple for generations to come and it will be a price we very likely may not be able to pay.
People, A LOT of people, are really failing to understand the absolute significance and seriousness stemming from these retarded actions of so many governors and mayors (and the people themselves).
FDR didn't pull us out of the Great Depression, it was a world war that required the rest of the industrialized world to be literally bombed into non-existence so that the US was one of the few powers left that could actually make things. Ask yourself what it's going to be that pulls us out of this, because it's going to be a very bumpy road ahead.
At some point we Patriots are going to need to exercise civil disobedience and take back our country. We cannot allow our "leaders" to keep us quarantined, not working forever while they destroy the economy and make us all dependent on the government for our mere survival. They can't lock us all up. Buy more guns and ammo and prepare yourself to use them.

Trump needs to force all buisness to open but take precautions. That's it. If we don't begin in the next week or so ,everything he worked for will come to naught and a huge portion of his trust will be lost. Because with something not as bad as other sicknesses he closed down everything and allow states to basically destroy themselves.
6000 dead is less than 1% of 1% of the entire population so again for the last time who calls out of work for hurting their pinky toe? Well that's what we had done with this virus.
This is the one time where government aid is a good idea. Covid 19 spreads easily without symptoms showing, so hospitals can get overloaded and people can stop getting treatment that they need. So it's not a full shutdown, just a slowdown to help stop the curve of patients being admitted.
