My Ma has had Lung Cancer for >10 years now. She attended Church all her life and loves our Lord and Savior. She was a nurse for 30 years, 25 of which were spent working in the Intensive Care Unit. She loved holding her patients' hands and fluffing their pillows or fetching them a warm blanket. Her health is deteriorating very quickly and it is hard seeing her in so much pain. She struggles to even walk and requires a cane so she won't lose her balance. She rarely walks up and down the stairs anymore. It is one problem after another, such as having surgery to remove a blockage in her nose that was causing severe migraines. Lung Cancer has been Hell for her and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy! I am not one to burden others, but I want you all to help her because my Ma is kind and she born and raised this Pede! I am humbly asking for all of your wishes and prayers.

Reading this hurts me in an unfathomable way. I had one of my favorite aunts die this way. She deteriorated quickly and died shortly after her diagnosis. She was a good woman, loved by all except her own children. I will never forget her and I will carry the shame of being too much of a coward to say goodbye for the last time. I hope your mother gets through this. I will pray for her recovery, because as you said nobody deserves to go through that type of pain.
You worded your message so perfectly! Thank you so much u/Dasrai ❤
