Stop buying from Amazon. Use a smaller ecommerce store and ask them over email. I did this and got a new US made (fabric and all) patio umbrella cover replacement for my shitty Chinese cover which ripped and faded in less than a year. It’s more expensive, but fuck China.

I just web search for whatever item I want and add "made in America" to the end. It hasn't failed me yet

Amazon also has pretty lax return policies. so if once you get the product and its from China, return it saying its defective.

Check the comments. It's common for people to ask where it's made and others respond. We could probably make an app to catalog it.
Just return everything made in China. They will learn.
