I don’t think you need to make any calls to find out. I think we can all use critical thinking to understand why the media is causing mass panic. Is the virus real? Absolutely. Is the panic and hysteria it caused warranted? I don’t believe so. If we handled this crisis without the hysteria the media caused, think about how efficient things could have been handled.
This is why I put up with choppy stream to listen to POTUS daily (with bonus of press beatdown by DJT. I put an antenna on a TV and get some broadcast news now. I do not perceive an agenda to stoke panic in the local news media. A lot of unity messaging, reinforcing social distancing recommendations, the daily reports from regional governors, and assurances we will all be back together again when this is over. I have the choice where to get my info. and I choose to drown out the rest and focus on the President's message. I see too much organizing push(whether organic or astroturf) here that is going directly against that messaging from POTUS. If it was somewhat parallel I would not have to waste time pushing back on it. Face it, we do not know shit, all are figuring it out as we go. I am grateful to be in this great nation for a time like this, with a President who is not dictating any of what is happening inindividual states. Y'all gotta take the concerns from local to governor if you do not like the encroachments POTUS has nothing to do with.
