The noose is getting tighter. These people need to be prosecuted or we will never recover from this.

It would be nice if Lady Justice would be the one doing some hanging, instead of always being the one left hanging.

This happened in December and since... . . . . . .

Yes, that's the sound of silence. Nothing.

That's what Barr is good at: making an announcement (words) followed by inaction.

The legal system unwraps a problem slowly and we all want it to happen faster. I'm still optimistic about October fire and fury.

I'm still optimistic about October fire and fury

As an optimist myself, there has been few things that have tried my optimism more than the lack of justice being pursued and the clear bias to prosecuting certain people immediately, with force, and public display, while "unwrapping a problem slowly" for other.

And, disproportionately, those prosecuted all support the President.

I don't understand this. Explain that to me. Please.

Trying to be optimistic myself and... Was going to try to write something clever that would explain this, but not coming up with anything. sorry

And, yet, Roger Stone is headed to jail. Manafort is in hardcore prison wing. General Flynn is staring at jail time.

I'm sincerely asking... explain the difference.

McCabe admitted to lying (a process crime).

Not prosecuted.

Explain please.

My original point...

That's what Barr is good at: making an announcement (words) followed by inaction.

Thank you for confirming that.

1
chuckachookah 1 point ago +1 / -0

And, frankly, if McCabe wasn't prosecuted for an open-and-shut case that he admitted to, then there is no way that any of this other stuff will ever get any action.

So, to revisit the issue that really awaits us is something from our past...

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

FBI Agent Kevin Clinesmith committed multiple process crimes and is allegedly under investigation, but no charges filed

Explain please.

Understood. And not being argumentative, per se.

But, his is a process crime also.

If you're implying that the Trump-orbit people that have been ramrodded into the justice system for process crimes, but we have to wait, and wait, and wait, and then have no prosecutions for the (let's call them) the anti-Trump orbit for what are also process crimes, then there is no justice. Anymore. This is abuse of our system to benefit of one and at the expense of another. This should not stand.

Hope he's going after the low hanging fruit first.

According to the indictment, from March 2016 through January 2017, Khawaja conspired with Nader to conceal the source of more than $3.5 million in campaign contributions, directed to political committees associated with a candidate for President of the United States in the 2016 election.

FOREIGN INTERFERENCE IN FAVOR OF HILLARY CLINTON TO GAIN INFLUENCE

Khawaja and Nader allegedly made these contributions in an effort to gain influence with high-level political figures, including the candidate. As Khawaja and Nader arranged these payments, Nader allegedly reported to an official from a foreign government about his efforts to gain influence.

Ahmad “Andy” Khawaja, 48, of Los Angeles, California
