I worked as a data conversion consultant a few years back and we always operated on timelines of "X years worth of data". If the project started in 2014, 2 years of data would be 2014, 2013, and part of 2012 depending on the month of the start date. What happens is when the project timeline moves, the requirement dates don't. So at go-live in 2016 you end up bringing the data for 2016, 15, 14, 13, and 12... essentially 5 years of data.

I'm about 90% sure there's something else going on. My thought is that they're clearing out Deep State something or other. The quarantine is cover so that they can limit the operational variables AND (maybe more importantly) prevent a mass casualty event that would operate like a Deep State dead man's switch.

I'm worried, reading some of these comments this is hurting a lot of very good people but there is a problem here for Trump. If he opens everything back up, he will get blamed for all the deaths that follow, so all he can do is trust the advice he gets from the medical team.
It's not only Trump's medical team, it is basically the entire medical field that disagrees with just trying to go back to normal right now.
To me, this is something Trump should hand off to the states as much as possible, leave it to each state to decide what to do, which is mostly what he has been doing.

The data I have been looking at are for the entire country, so it averages out. There are hot spots like NYC and Detroit and other places that won't really get touched much.
Where an individual lives will dictate how much of this they will see and how much it affects their lives, it stands to reason that the majority of the deaths will be in the big cities as that is where most the people are.

To the folks in here worrying about the "two week" sliding scale (meaning it's always two weeks out and the date never changes), medical people do that ALL THE TIME.
I worked as a data conversion consultant a few years back and we always operated on timelines of "X years worth of data". If the project started in 2014, 2 years of data would be 2014, 2013, and part of 2012 depending on the month of the start date. What happens is when the project timeline moves, the requirement dates don't. So at go-live in 2016 you end up bringing the data for 2016, 15, 14, 13, and 12... essentially 5 years of data.
Healthcare providers are NOTORIOUS for this.
We need to hold their feet to the fire or they will keep this sliding scale going for as long as it's allowed.
