Find out which model "fits" you. Each hand gun feels different and has different positives and negatives (semi- auto vs. revolvers ). You will also notice that grip size, weight, recoil also factor in on your follow up shots. Myself I have very small hands and prefer. the slimmer grip of a 1911 frame ( which comes in multiple calibers ) . Eventually you will find one that you will be able to handle comfortably and accurately. Then I recommend taking a class and practice, practice, practice.
