Ever since I started taking garlic supplements I basically never get sick. That wasn't the reason I started taking them, but it has definitely been a great side effect.
Just popping in to give the garlic a thumbs up. Though, not all garlic is created equal. I've settled on a brand in pill form that works for me, but I won't bother saying what that is as most likely people wouldn't be able to find it near them. Just saying, if you try some and don't see much benefits, try another brand till you find a good one. Eat it raw if you can, however, I do the pill to not be as stinky and to end up with more than I would get if I actually ate it (a man can only eat so much I tell ya, just so much).
Help sleep...? I use my colds as an excuse to pound those things as soon as I wake up, when home from work sick. Some call it alcoholism. I call it getting better quicker ;)
Orange juice is all very well. But opening a real orange and eating it quickly might be even better. Or three of them in quick succession, when first feeling sick.
Vitamin C is what you want here, and it deteriorates quickly in the air. It is destroyed by cooking also.
Vitamin C pills might be useful. You want a lot of it at once when you first fall sick. It is water soluble, so over-dosing is not a concern, as it is with fat-soluble vitamins such as A and D. The water soluble ones, B and C, you pee out.
If you’re taking a lot of anti-fever/medication for pain, it good to alternate acetaminophen (Tylenol) and ibuprofen (Motrin). They each use different metabolic pathways so you don’t stress out one system. Avoid ibuprofen (Motrin) in significant dehydration as it’s excreted through the kidneys. Never mix acetaminophen (Tylenol) and alcohol because it’s processed through through the liver.
Taking a combo of 400mg Motrin & 500mg Tylenol at the same time is as good as a narcotic for moderate to severe pain.
That's good, breathing the steam with the Vicks under the nose. And Vitamin C, yes. And the other Vitamins each do something different, so you need them all.
Vitamin D3 and Vitamin C daily. Bump D3 and C up at first signs of sickness. Sip whiskey. The 3 in vitamin D is important. It is the "Sunshine vitamin". It you don't get much sun you are probably low on this., and need more to strengthen the immune system
Lots of fluids. If your boogers are dry or your piss looks like ice tea you need to drink more fluids.
Chapped lips is another sign.

Hot Toddy
4 oz Hot water
2 tsp Honey
1/2 oz Lemon juice (fresh squeezed)
1 1/2 oz Whiskey
Lemon to disinfect and for vitamin C, Honey to soothe the throat, whiskey to calm and help sleep.
This was my father's remedy, plus you drink it while wrapped in a blanket for an instant sweatlodge effect.

Three oranges and a steak. Very hot shower, good night's sleep.
Acidophilus is good for gut flora and that drives a lot.
After the steak. And the oranges. And the daily multi-vitamin.
Not chopped beef. Steak. Even a small one.

IF you have COVID, take NO ibuprofen!! Agree with the rest of what you say.
Sleep a lot. Elderberry tea instead of coffee. Bundle up until sweaty and take a shower to cool off. Salt inhaler 3 times a day for 5-10 minutes.

My regiment is... Garlic Ginger Zinc Cranberry Juice Pineapple Juice Apple Juice
Though, that is when I am sick, but as others have posted on here, once I started doing the garlic on a daily basis, I haven't much been sick since.

Hm, this seems like a massive litigation trap.
Water glass of nyquil and a water glass of rum.
