Smart move getting a matched set. It makes accessory / ammo purchases very easy!

20
TrollingThunder [S] 20 points ago +20 / -0

That and I was thinking if we ever ended up in a really bad situation either of us could use the other's gun without any adjustment.

Good job hiding the serial! We need to make sure everyone knows to hide them!

13
TrollingThunder [S] 13 points ago +13 / -0

Honestly, it didn't occur to me at first. u/pray_for_kekistan set me straight.

10
taavofficial 10 points ago +10 / -0

I didn't realize how dangerous it was to display your serial numbers on the internet until someone on r/T_D explained it on my post. Love this community, we're here watching out for each other!

3
123breadman 3 points ago +3 / -0

Why is it dangerous?

7
debi_birx_scarf 7 points ago +7 / -0

It's like putting your driver's license next to the gun.

1
123breadman 1 point ago +1 / -0

Can they really track you with the serial number? I thought it was like a license plate?

I'm probably wrong on this.

3
russian_bot6547 3 points ago +3 / -0

Some disgruntled libtard could use it to report the gun stolen to harass the owner

3
Chick-fill-eh 3 points ago +3 / -0

If you post a car, you should blur it the plate too.

7
Necrovoter 7 points ago +7 / -0

It is tragic to learn that having just acquired these guns that you may have already lost them in a boating accident.

Lawyer: "If you'll note the rental agreement, you'll see where my client did indeed rent a small fishing boat the weekend after the purchase."

Judge: "I see no insurance claim filed."

Lawyer: "My client regrets not having the foresight to purchase insurance, so no claim for loss was filed. You would think my client would have learned after his boating accidents of 2012, 2014 and 2017."

Thanks! Unfortunately, our shitty Sheriff drags out the approvals to almost the 120-day deadline, but she should be good to go by the end of summer.

9
LegalKekistani 9 points ago +9 / -0

I have had one of these P365’s in my online shopping cart for a week. They have a cheaper model for $419 right now. I Just haven’t pulled the trigger on it. I’ve got three friends that own them and love them.

6
TrollingThunder [S] 6 points ago +6 / -0

I've never picked up a Sig that didn't feel like it belonged in my hand, and these P365s are no exception. Sigs are just extraordinarily comfortable handguns for me.

5
LegalKekistani 5 points ago +6 / -1

I’ve just got my carry permit in November I’ve been carrying my Glock 19 which is fine for winter but is way too big for summer clothes.

8
TrollingThunder [S] 8 points ago +8 / -0

I have a little Sig P238 that I carry sometimes as a pocket gun when concealing a larger handgun isn't feasible. With this P365, though, I shouldn't have any problems. It's pretty tiny for a 9mm.

3
Webasdias 3 points ago +3 / -0

You can conceal a P365 with just a tshirt and a regular IWB holster

2
LegalKekistani 2 points ago +2 / -0

I ended up getting a Ruger LCP2. It’s 5” long and only 10oz. $300 out the door. Didn’t want to spend a lot right now otherwise would have got the p365

2
TrollingThunder [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, we live in the desert so I generally wear really light clothes and the P365 doesn't print at all when I'm wearing a t-shirt.

3
1776-or-1984 3 points ago +3 / -0

Nice username. But I disagree, I like the sound of OP's summer clothes /s

0
LegalKekistani 0 points ago +1 / -1

Nah, in the summer I wear basketball shorts and bathing suits lol. Glock 19 is way to heavy when loaded for that elastic bands to hold it.

2
txladyvoter 2 points ago +2 / -0

Check out the GL48 with the 15 rd mag Shield Arms makes. You might like this better or you might not. Have to put a metal mag also conveniently available from Shield so the metal mag doesn't 'ride out' the polymer mag of the standard 48's. This is the mag that GL should have made.

I’m very aware of the g43x I’ve been going back and forth between that and the p365 watching comparison videos. I’ve got many glocks.

How do you like the SAS? Ive been eyeing it over the P365 basic and Glock 43.

I like the flattened sights, easier to draw, Ive read.

8
TrollingThunder [S] 8 points ago +9 / -1

The main reason we went with it was for the sights, there is nothing anywhere on this gun that can snag when drawing it. Plus, those recessed tritium sights are just awesome.

5
Only_Rosie_ODonnell 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'll keep that in mind for when my state inevitably has a change of heart on the 2A. Until then I'll have to be watching you deplorables have all the fun.

What state, Commiefornia?

2

Ugh. Godspeed. Hopefully not Manhattan. Im with you all the fucking way tho regardless.

2
Only_Rosie_ODonnell 2 points ago +2 / -0

Manhattan is probably the safest out of the five boroughs

1
Only_Rosie_ODonnell 1 point ago +1 / -0

Exactly! Now more then ever needed. I'd carry if there was a way to obtain a CCW

4

Theres a Great Awakening happening. 18 months ago I was defending Trump attackers. Now Im here.

Get AOC gone. Idk where Candace Owens is running, but given this amazing timeline, I wouldnt blink twice if she announced shes running in AOC district soon.

5

Awesomesauce, thanks! And yea, those sights are snazzy!

4
Only_Rosie_ODonnell 4 points ago +4 / -0

Damn! You guys alright?

2
debi_birx_scarf 2 points ago +2 / -0

How you like them sights?

2
TrollingThunder [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not the person you were asking, but in our case, the sights are what made us end up getting the SAS over the other P365 models. I had my eye on the XL (with an optic), but I really like the sights on the SAS.

2
1776-or-1984 2 points ago +2 / -0

Amen brother. The SAS looks perfect in every way. I saw a arms dealer on YT complaining about how it sometimes jams, but its like the dust cleaner seeing a speck of dust in an immaculate dwelling. Im pretty sure the SAS is gonna be mine this month.

5
Cacciali_Via 5 points ago +6 / -1

Can you explain why hiding the s/n is necessary?

13
1776-or-1984 13 points ago +13 / -0

would you post your social security number, especially on a political website? same thing

1
Cacciali_Via 1 point ago +2 / -1

In what way is it like a SSN? There is no database or online record that includes that sn and my name.

10
TrollingThunder [S] 10 points ago +10 / -0

Just making sure that people don't get up to any mischief. I'm not sure what someone could do with the s/n, but maybe they could report the guns as stolen or create some other headaches for us. Better safe than sorry.

0
Cacciali_Via 0 points ago +1 / -1

Somebody is going to file a false police report claiming the gun was theirs?

Even if they did, what problem would that cause me?

1
TrollingThunder [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Like I said, better safe than sorry.

8
Swampy 8 points ago +8 / -0

I read that reddit and those fucking places zoom in on the serial # so they can put a tag on where and who those guns belong to. Spez: read on the internet, so it must be true.

3
1776-or-1984 3 points ago +3 / -0

bunch of ants with nothing better to do. Oh wait, zooming in on a serial number to cause trouble is the best they can do, thats why they do it lol

0
Cacciali_Via 0 points ago +1 / -1

As I understand it, there is nothing anyone could do with that number.

There is only one place on the planet that has a record tying that s/n to my name. It is not even an electronic record, it is a single piece of paper, sitting in a box in the office of the FFL that transferred it to me. That piece of paper is not indexed alphabetically or alphanumericlly, but chronologically.

So without a search warrant to manually search the records of the ffl, it would be impossible to tie it to me in any way.

I am open to being corrected, but I require evidence not old wives tales.

1
1776-or-1984 1 point ago +1 / -0

I stand before you, educated.

My caution MAY not apply here, the sole exception.

1

Cacciali_Via 0 points ago +1 / -1

How is that different than doing an image search for "ar15" and seeing pics of ar15s?

What difference does it make if I put up a billboard with my gun's sn on it? There is nothing anyone can do with that number.

5
guitarmastershredder 5 points ago +5 / -0

I have some revolver freedom dispensers

4
Zadok 4 points ago +4 / -0

I must say how relieved I was that you didn't post pictures of guns, which we all know would trigger, (every pun intended), our left leaning trolls.

That said, those are two very good looking freedom dispensers.

I tried the SAS slide. Couldn't get used to the sights. Sold it. Love the base model, with the Lima laser. Bad time for ammo buying though.

2
Glowsticks 2 points ago +2 / -0

How do you like the sight on these bad boys? I was looking at this model last year and could never decide if the fiber sight was going to be good. Or worked well in the dark.

2
TrollingThunder [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

I love the sight. Also, they are great in the dark, there is tritium in them. They light up beautifully.

2

"Freedom dispensers." I gotta use that.
