This was the day I really started to believe Trump was going to win the election. Seeing President Trump and his security detail cross the highway like it was nothing was awe inspiring.
And conversely Hillary disappearing for most of the campaign, and only making short, very carefully staged campaign appearances to hide her physical ailments. Which still didn't work because she had nonstop coughing spells, coughed up those alien eggs and micro-seizures.
Trump never let any obstacle get in his way to keep him from winning the presidency.
Is the audio accurate? The weird cutoffs makes me think the media had expected some sort of confrontation in front of the hotel but the hosts were completely perplexed by what was happening.
I remember seeing this back in the day but hindsight and all..
The media did expect the confrontation, you can see in the video that the front way into the hotel is completely blocked by a throng of protestors. They were ready to cause a fuss but Trump just bypassed them, stumping all involved
You'll read it in Rush's post about the day he got the call from the President for his medal. He said Trump has this steadfast, unwavering optimism, this attitude that if it should be done, could be done, it will get done, and they'll find a way. Really made me admire Trump even more, especially now that I see him facing this virus and the deepstate/Dems/China, knowing that even with this insurmountable mission ahead of him, he's optimistic, and in his mind, he knows there's a way to succeed. I love that about him.
I never loved a president before, but someday I would love to shake this man's hand with years in my eyes and thank him for sacrificing everything to protect America. He loves this country, and he loves us. And I love that beautiful orange bastard with all my patriotic loyalty and heart.
This is why I liked my former boss so much. He had a similar attitude; and when we achieved a goal, he rewarded everyone who contributed. He never distanced himself from his work or his employees; so he knew who did and didn't help.
He was also amazing at cutting through BS and keeping focused on goals. Contractors who liked taking advantage of people didn't like working with him very much.
(I ultimately moved on to another job; not because of my boss, but I just wanted to try a new career which I'm now happier in. He and I are still on great terms together and we send each other Christmas food packages every year!)
I loved that moment. When that happened I knew he had a real chance of winning. I was disheartened after the next month or so since I hadn’t found The Donald yet. Once I found you guys my hopes grew daily until Election Day. That day I went and voted but the negative news had gotten to me again. I refused to look at the returns until about 9:30 and I knew something was up, then I realized he was winning! My heart literally leapt from my chest. That was one of the best moments in my life. I stayed up until 4 am eastern time watching the news. Then got up at 7:30 am and watched all day. I work a seasonal job so I was home. What an incredible day that was. God Bless President Trump!
It seriously was. I swear I felt like I was given the best gift ever. I had lost hope in the days leading up. My wife hadn’t lost hope but I thought I would be disappointed again. Just imagine that feeling when you believed all the negative hype, were in the lowest place, darkness closing in and the whole world going black. Then a small point of light, a point that keeps getting brighter and brighter. He’s winning! We did it! We have a chance to save our beautiful country. It really was special.
I believed he would win once I heard him in the first Republican debate. He was so different and fresh compared to everyone else on stage. And so funny. I had a negative opinion before I heard him speak, and I realized it wasn’t even my opinion, just some crap I read somewhere.
However, I was concerned about the cheating. Turns out it doesn’t give them more than a 10-15% edge.
After all that has happened, I really believe God has put him here at this time to save us.
I don’t think any other explanation makes sense. Trump has literally broken all the old “rules”, and no matter what, none of their usual tricks can even slow him down.
Herman Cain dropped out over rumors of infidelity, but Trump has been called all sorts of names and shrugged it off.
I have no doubt this election will be a victory for us, and I’m excited to see how we’ll keep it going after 2024.
I thought he would win when he announced his campaign. I remember telling all my friends that Trump would be the next President because Americans would 100% elect this clown.
Then I looked into his politics and been supporting him ever since.
I only realized I wasn’t alone and that he might win after the SC debate when they had packed the audience with GOP neocons and he said Iraq was a huge (ahem *yuge) mistake. Everyone in the crowd booed. I thought wow, good for him to speak the truth but this will be what tanks him. But then his number went up and my heart soared. It was in that moment that I realized that the lie they had told me—that I was alone—was completely false.
Even so, I’m in CA so Election Day was incredibly depressing. I was still in the wilderness as I hadn’t found you pedes yet. I voted. We don’t have tv so I didn’t watch but I was so depressed. I was 100% sure that we were watching the Republic die. When finally we opened our computers and saw he had won Florida I have to admit tears came to my eyes. Our beautiful country was saved.
I couldn't watch the results. I tried for an hour, but it was depressing me in the early stages with all the liberal anchors and talking heads acting all jovially because they knew she was going to win.
I had been telling my coworkers (blue collar fabrication shop) in the last week that I thought Trump might actually win this thing. Most of them weren't convinced even though everyone wanted him to win. I told them about the 4chan #DraftOurDaughters campaign on Facebook and Twitter or the amount of yard signs Trump had vs Hillary, you know, all the little things that had been pointed out over at old TD. I really thought he had a chance but the polls were so far against him I didn't know. I mean, the polls had never been wrong like that before, so could he really win?
The next morning is when I found out as I was driving into work and heard the results on the radio. It was like a dream world. At the first break we all piled into the break room and the guys told me that I was right, he did win and we spent the next few days discussing what exactly happened to get him elected. Everyone in the shop was excited though, and that made it fun.
I 'member. Also remember but can't find the vid of the smug, smirking leader of the "protesters" crowing how nobody was getting in looking utterly poleaxed when informed he already was. Fine moment.
I absolutely remember that day - at the same time that is when Chris Conner (I think that is his name) was labeled as the lonely trump supporter that marched against the protesters. It defined the MAGA movement for me - A guy that can speak freely and support his candidate despite the jerks that got in his way (and tried to cause physical harm). MAGA2020!
Oorah!
That was awesome, seemed totally normal at the time
Saw it live!
Heady days.
Never saw this. I loved it!!!

It's almost as if he's unstumpable.
Well, you can't stump the Trump.
It's almost like Trump's team was thinking "Protestors might block the hotel. What should we do if that happens?"
People actually planning ahead for likely events!? And finding solutions!? Shocked! I'm just shocked!
member how people found out they CGI'd her crowd kek
And don't forget about her getting chucked in a van like a side of beef.
Call me OG, I remember this. Watched it live.
Exactly what I was going to say👍
thank you for ur nimbleness
yep
That was such a fucking boss moment
I can hear it now.
"Pull this fucking thing around back, fucking protestors aren't stopping me from MAGA"
Meanwhile Hillary required two people to assist her up a flight of stairs to keep from falling on her fat ass.
Chucked like a side of beef
hillary would have to cancel event
What happened, im getting a dead link.
You can’t hit this?
https://youtu.be/I_jHviSHykI
It’s POTUS exiting his motorcade on the highway and walking into the venue to avoid protests blocking the roadways
Hell yea, badass GEOTUS
BOSS MOVE
He always finds a way to succeed
UNDER BUDGET AHEAD OF SCHEDULE.

Exactly how it is.
How to follow? Mat Gaetz

I was commenting on returnofkings like “wtf i thought we were the only ones!”
RoK!?!! My man!
Nice site. Your comment made me look it up. Somehow I never saw it, as active as I was. Shame it’s shuttered for the time being.
Yeh its rooshv’s site actually. I hope it comes back eventually

He's UNSTOPPABLE!
Like the Trump Train 🚂
No Brakes!
WE JUST CAN'T STOP WINNING, FOLKS! THE TRUMP TRAIN JUST GOT 10 BILLION MPH FASTER!
CURRENT SPEED: 358,649,385,117,000 MPH!
At that rate, it would take approximately 4.679 years to travel to the Andromeda Galaxy (2.5 million light-years)!

Walked with purpose. 100% boss move.
You most certainly CAN'T stump the Trump!
I’d like to think I’m an “OG”, but this is my first time seeing this and its hilarious!
Did you ever watch the can't stump the trump videos?
if you did i think you def pass as OG
if not, highly recommended!
Oh yeah, I’m up to speed on those for sure, so maybe I’m an OG after all. Thanks!

UNSTOPPABLE
I was there!
Boss moves
Like a fucking boss!
Awe yahhhh! Top ten moment from the campaign. So many lols that day!!
I ‘member
Personally I prefer the press conferences to the rallies
press conferences are good, but the rallies are the heartbeat of Trump supporters
I think during his speech he made some crack about feeling like an illegal alien. Sneaking over a fence or something.
trailer parkin' round the outside, round the outside, round the outside
Member this. Wasn't this close to the time of Hillary becoming Side of Beef?
It was within two weeks of that she took her chucking.
And she's still looking for that shoe to this day...
This was THE MOMENT my opinion of Trump started to change. I swallowed my first red pill that day and the first rays of light broke through :)
How could you forget?
That was like a superhero moment in my eyes. I remember it well, but so great to see again.
Back door, front door... no stopping the Donald!
Logistics Boss
Of course!
1:44 "Be careful ladies, there's Mr Trump"
I’m OG.
Like many Pedes, this was when I knew it.
I was still concerned about the dems stealing the election (because that's what Dems do), but this was the Boss move.
Epic moment. This is when I realized weren’t not dealing with just any old regular politician.
You gotta do what you gotta do.
Not gonna lie, this could very well be the moment that I jumped onto the Trump train. No brakes!

This was the exact moment I knew he was gonna win. Mad Lad!

GO TRUMP GO!
MSM: B b b but he doesn't really care!
That was epic when it happened, they knew exactly what to do and already had this plan B thought through. Always a couple steps ahead.
What a boss.
I remember this, but I'm certainly not OG. I never knew reddit existed until last year. And then it took me many months to finally see TD.
