Small world! My Brother still lives in CT. I'm a transplant here myself. Most people were really surprised at how Paul Ryan turned out. I couldn't tell you how many times he was re-elected, but everyone was glad to see him go.
WI pede here. I'm never leaving. I love it here! Haven't seen the neighborhood red foxes yet since winter, but deer are everywhere and turkeys are mostly back.
Had 7 deer in my backyard a few days ago, 3 of them lying down. All of them just chillaxing in the sun. I can't even imagine keeping my sanity through this anywhere east coast
Can’t comment about the wild life or anything like that. I was never an outdoors person before I got here. Now I know we will never starve and the community up here is so fucking nice. Night and day difference from East coast
Like stepping into a Norman Rockwell picture! I go places where houses are built with no locks on the doors. Eurosnobs condescend about our crime rates, they have no clue, lol
Even before "social distancing" was talked about, people in supermarkets would stay 8 feet away and if they came even that close would stop immediately, back up, and say I'm sorry. I can't imagine anything like that happening on the east coast

Gotta convince him to get out! The mid-west is fuckin lit! Or at least where I live in Wisconsin it is.
