I was trying to tell this to my father the other week, that the mortality rate is being artificially inflated and that legitimate causes of death that would have otherwise occurred because of conditions or disease states are being attributed to COVID-19. He told me I was crazy and blew me off. I showed this article to him this morning, and he still blew me off saying that he knows more about it because he watches the news and I don't and this comes from somewhere he's never heard of before.
The very fact that I don't watch CNN probably means I know more about it. I also forgot that retired bankers know more than pharmacists about meds and diseases, silly me.
He drank the Kool-Aid and I don't think there's any chance of him seeing reason at this point.
