Trump really should comment: well, doubting Democrats and CNNBC reporters should refuse to take hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin.

And 200mg zinc.

Dr Zelenko thinks Zinc is the primary remedy. HCQ enables it to enter to the cells. Nobody mentions that. I hope FDA tests that combo also.

From reading the research 3 steps needed IIRC

  1. hydroxychloroquine - weakens/penetrates virus coating

  2. zpac - removes/treats opportunistic infections

  3. zinc - inactivates virus, needs to get thru coating, see step 1

There is research suggesting that azithromycin also disables certain key steps in the kind of allergic reaction (aka, the "cytokine storm") that this virus, and others, initiate upon infection.

ZINC SULFATE

“And 200mg zinc.” 220mg zinc sulfate USP, which contains 50mg of zinc.
An alternative would be to take 300mg of zinc orotate, assuming the sulfate ion isn’t also a necessary part of the treatment. The sulfate may help too, as the body can use that to make glutathione. An alternative source of sulfur is NAC (N acetyl cysteine).

Zinc orotate is the most bio available form of zinc supplement, typically sold in doses of 60mg each which have 9.5mg zinc each, for about 5 cents per pill. [ I usually buy the Advanced Research brand from Amazon but they seem to be out of stock; I found some at Swanson Vitamins website. ]

Zelenko prescription: “ Hydroxychloroquine 200mg 2x daily, Azithromycin 500mg 1x daily, Zinc Sulfate 220mg 1x daily”

Regarding azithromycin, it supposedly poses a heart risk; an LA doctor reported success using doxycycline instead

Thanks for the details on the zinc. Now I know some alternatives. I've not had problems with azithromycin. I've taken it frequently as I'm allergic to penicillin.

DeplorableWolverine, great post!

Do you happen to know how zinc gluconate converts? Asking because it's what I've got.

Hi, please BE VERY CAREFUL reading the label.
It takes 350mg of zinc gluconate to yield 50mg of zinc. But again BE VERY CAREFUL reading the label, the bottle might list the amount of elemental zinc per dose, not the amount of zinc gluconate. Don’t accidentally take 350mg of elemental zinc in one day!

For example, “Zinc Maxx” is a brand which uses zinc gluconate and lists the dose as 50mg, but it’s referring to 50mg elemental zinc! So it’s actually 350mg zinc gluconate per dose.
