Funny how the dems want to cancel their convention but not the general election

3
K-Harbour 3 points ago +3 / -0

Well, the states could decide to appoint electors and the electoral college meet with Pence.

We can calculate the Electoral Votes right now.

JudicialDredd 25 points ago +25 / -0

Trump should retweet that Carpe meme of him running for office forever. With a line about "better postpone the election for a while, just to be safe" and then watch heads explode. Would easily overtake the China Virus death count.

10
Razeontherock 10 points ago +10 / -0

We could use massive quantities of exploding heads right about now. The goal is to flatten the curve, right?

6
RighteousViolence1 6 points ago +6 / -0

Communist news network- Trump fanboi u/Razeontherock threatens all angelic liberals by, and we quote, “exploding” their “heads.”

4
Razeontherock 4 points ago +5 / -1

Guilty as charged! Especially since my D Governor just signed an EO postponing our primaries that are TOMORROW.

Postpone elections will you? FINE.

DJT faces no challenge until 2024

This major concern just crept through my mind. This has me thinking about the dilemma that GOP most likely to suffer on Election Day.  Trump cannot afford to have people staying quarantine when the election is being held nationwide. People need to return to their normal lives, specifically working at the actual office where normal business hours are back. Traditionally, republicans cast their ballots after work. I fear this unpredictable, negative outcome would become a reality that could put Republicans at huge disadvantages.  If people get stuck at home by no choice, not working, and then they show up at polling stations in droves. This usually prompts to favor the Democrats to potentially create a huge turnout. If bad weather ensues on Election Day, this could favor the republicans, but these days people are desperate to get out of the house due to cabin fever.

This is why they keep pushing we'll have a round 2 of Corona in fall...welp time to shut everything down again, mail in voting only. Watch

Tony “40,000 votes roll in after midnight from shothole Milwaukee” Evers back at it trying to steal elections

Already lawsuits.

16
Psilocybik 16 points ago +16 / -0

Reminder that he stole the election from Scott Walker with 11th hour Milwaukee ""found"" ballots like Democrats so often do. The Al Franken playbook.

Dems: "You are free...except when the tv tells you to be a prisoner, then we have to take away your rights for your safety."

12
porkrice 12 points ago +12 / -0

They’re really trying to use this virus scare to push mail in voting. I’m totally against it of course. Remember in 2016 when all those posts and pictures were popping up of USPS workers saying they threw a lot of Trump votes in the trash? The left said it was fake or trolling or whatever.. it’s still a possibility. And to be honest I wouldn’t want workers throwing Dem votes in the trash either. I don’t want any party cheating.

I wonder who can make the decision to delay the presidential election? Is that up to Trump? I can totally see the House passing that bill. I can also see the House enforcing mail in voting because “muh pandemic!”

4
Razeontherock 4 points ago +4 / -0

The House doesn't get to "enforce." They may well pass yet more bs measures, but it still has to get past Senate and POTUS to become law.

Evers administration is a microcosm of what a Joe Biden Presidency would look like. A doddering, old fool with not much clue of what he's doing or what's going on, dancing like a marionette to the radicals behind the curtain pulling the strings.

I'm so ashamed Republicans got complacent in my state and allowed this clown to beat Scott Walker.

7
fcdru 7 points ago +7 / -0

Right there with you, my friend. :(

-1
Razeontherock -1 points ago +2 / -3

Well to be fair, Walker was a weak and unpopular candidate that should have been eliminated at the primary.

1
sorrytodisagree 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't know if you can call a candidate "unpopular" that only lost after democrats unusually usual luck of "discovering" just the right number of ballots in their most corrupt deep blue stronghold to swing the election after everything else was counted...

-2
Razeontherock -2 points ago +1 / -3

I'm referring to his unpopularity due to being recalled. Not many elected Officials ever have to face a recall election. His Union busting stance made him a weak candidate. Every advancement US workers ever made was due to Unions.

1
sorrytodisagree 1 point ago +1 / -0

He was going after public sector unions. There's a natural limit to the bargaining power of private sector unions where they have a vested interest in the survival of the employer. Where it goes horribly wrong is when political pressures muddy the waters allowing disasters like the detroit auto industry.

Public sector unions that Walker was targeting, specifically the teacher's union, are another animal. They are joined at the hip with politics and the definition of too big to fail. That means their demands can and will be unreasonable. Just look at the bankrupt mess of illinois.

When unions can hold essential services hostage and negotiate with their own co-dependant politicians to keep their employers (taxpayers) oblivious of how painfully they're being squeezed its a recipe for disaster.

1
RummyVonDumDum 1 point ago +1 / -0

He was taking on the political ruling class in Wisconsin before Trump made it cool nationwide. The vitriol the establishment went after the Walker movement was ample evidence that he kicked a hornet's nest.

1
smurphyswimmer 1 point ago +1 / -0

And putting the state in a great fiscal position. Unlike Illinois. Fyi...he won the recall election by a larger margin than his 1st election. Not exactly weak. Probably shouldn't have run for President.

2
MagaMan91 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think if Walker was term limited and a new GOP candidate ran they maybe would had won.

In Wisconsin there is no term limits for a governor.

I think some centrist wanted to see a fresh face.

3
RummyVonDumDum 3 points ago +3 / -0

Possibly. Wisconsin is as purple a state as there is. The region I live in is usually the indicator of how the state will go, and it's definitely trending Republican in recent years, but Milwaukee and Dane County have raw numbers that are sometimes hard to overcome. Also, as most here probably know, the opposition aren't opposed to breaking a few rules in their fight for the good struggle. Like delaying an election when they know the early ballot returns are indicating the conservative will likely win the election TOMMOROW. Nevermind if the governor has no constitutional authority to do such a thing.

This fucking corruption needs to stop, by hook or by crook.

WI barely has ANY cases. Last week Evers admitted he didn’t have power to do this.

The WI supreme court better come down on this hard.

WI is a shit show of the highest magnitude. Soviet-level.

7

Wisconsin is great, its Madison and Milwaukee that are absolute shit shows, and also where most cases of the kung flu are.

4

Spot on. Madison is the San Francisco of the Midwest. Absolute shithole.

Nope. We have no "stay at home" order, the article is just wrong on that point. We may be the only State with a "safer at home" order, which is materially different in that you can't be punished just for being out of your home like many States are doing.

Not that I'm defending our new D Governor; he's a mass murderer repeating Cuomo's mistake. He should've been removed from Office by We the People at 9:30 this morning.

We've got a R controlled Legislature. They thought they had this bs all settled last week. We also do a great job of not letting illegals vote.

As a wisconsinite you should see the short stroking the libs have been doing over this for days. Reading the Wisconsin subreddit is just posts about how Republicans are worse than Hitler for wanting to have the election, and that not enough people are heeding Chairman Evers edicts from the Peoples Republic of Madison.

Guys I was kind of saying half of the states on lockdown could go back to work, but now I'm not so sure. We may have to take drastic steps and permanently suspend the presidential election.

After all we may never know when corona returns!

Soooo, as of right now, this election’s ol’ DNC bait-and-switchaREEE is likely to go down sometime before June. Everybody start keeping an eye out for any obits that include phrases like: “they were passionate about fighting for voter equality”, “dedicated to their dream job at the DNC”, or “a bike rack with a creepy ass inscription mentioning “PANDA” has been thrown up in the parking lot of their beloved democrat campaign employer’s parking lot.”
