This makes sense. Since they can't find a real person hooked up to one.

Yet they can always go lower, and they will.

If it were happening the way they want us to believe it is, they wouldn’t have to do things like this.

I can tell you about the mechanisms of death involved with dying on a ventilator. It's horrifying and you don't want to see it. Also what nobody's talking about is the people operating the machines struggle right along with their patients as they struggle to breathe their last. About half don't make it. Those people aren't going to keep functioning well for long if they're working in those conditions.

Privacy laws would be violated by showing any patient in a hospital. The mannequin doesn't have privacy rights to enforce.

The main point is of course to induce panic. "ICU beds and ventilators" were at the heart of the panic. Nobody mentioned that this is not even effective care, and does nothing to address the cause of death.

HIPAA laws are very stringent - it's unlikely they'd be able to film and broadcast a real person, so they set up a dummy to avoid releasing anyone's private information. But it's wildly misleading unless you very specifically explain its indeed a dummy!
