Don't do this, don't feed the mainstream media hysteria machine.

Don't attach our great message to this hysterical media cluster fuck.

Yeah I'm not a fan of this slogan being associated with a virus that's killing thousands. I'd rather wear a 'Fuck the CCP' mask.

it's not a virus mask, it's a motorcycle mask

That would be a big seller! Except on Reddit.

????????? dude masks work wtf. This is the deadliest infectious disease in existence right now. In my base literally everyone is wearing a mask 24/7 because people keep getting infected and fainting.

Really? I've been sick all week, mucous and grey phlem. Difficulty breathing. Probably not Wuhan coronavirus. Still, didn't faint.

Might wanna eat better and get fitter on that base. Soldiers aren't supposed to faint enmass.

I agree with you. There is a deadly infectious disease going around destroying lives. It's called TDS-20 and your "base" is heavily infected with it

Concern troll is obvious.

And I ain't talking about masks, just not putting Trumps slogan on it dipshit.

I don't even think everyone should be wearing masks everywhere like they say either. It just confirms the fear they want you to feel.

Thus mask won't work at all. It also relates our message and President with the virus. Not good for our brand. Not good at all. Believe me.

Well, I would guess that it protects against droplets, but I am more uncertain about aerosols. N95 would likely be much, much better against aerosols. There is also the question of how easy they are to breathe through, and whether they can be machine-washed (important given that it is expensive, since if it isn't reusable, it is not at all economical). I looked at this site myself when creating a crappy DIY mask for myself: https://smartairfilters.com/en/blog/best-materials-make-diy-face-mask-virus/ (I first tried with vacuum cleaner bags, but as the page said, it was far too difficult to breathe through sufficiently for even 5-10 minutes, and I also got concerned about what material there might be released from a cut vacuum cleaner bag).

The recommendation is just for cloth face coverings, there's no requirement that masks be N95 rated, or even medical in nature. Anything that covers your mouth and nose is what's being recommended at this time.

Good point. Machine-washable would still be a fairly useful property, especially reg. keeping the mask somewhat sanitary (especially reg. droplets and the like) over time.

(but the Task Force is live at the moment, go to the livestream :) ).

Well people are making their own masks right now because they can’t find them anywhere, and I heard that the elastic bands are becoming hard to find

but I imagine any kind of protection is better than none
