Writing this to put people’s minds at ease.

Hospitals are essentially all using treatment protocols including hydroxychloroquine, often with zinc and Zithromax or similar hopeful drugs.

In my regional hospital system, if you have hypoxia and covid, or a risk factor and covid, you are getting treated with these meds as the standard, unless there is a reason not to.

I have family who work in big name academic medical centers in other states also on the front lines. They are also using these meds. And we all hope it is making a difference.

So please rest easy, word has gotten out and hospitals and docs are embracing and not rejecting these therapies.

I really hope that this becomes the drug that is administered as a prophylactic sooner than later.

Those were initially my thoughts too. Then I crunched the numbers. While there's no shortage requiring us to deny medicine to sick people, we'd need about 5 billion to give everybody a modest supply for preventative use. It would take us over a year to get that many.

Now I'm thinking a possible approach might be to open things back up in phases: people that've recovered and test virus-free can't spread it and are immune. They average about 150 per State now, but should add 300,000+ soon. These are the first people to go back to being productive. Simultaneously we could introduce everybody willing and not in high risk groups in all of the Counties with low numbers of active cases. (What I think should have been done all along) Give that 10 days to see what happens. This would be a second wave with a flattened curve that won't overwhelm anything especially now that we know nobody needs a ventilator.

Then bring our suburbs with medium numbers back, once the bulk of the Country has stabilized. Finally, be very careful with "hot spots" which are all cities. Dubuque and Milwaukee will be a lot easier to manage than NYC. Everybody newly infected gets Trump pills, and the whole Nation develops herd immunity. Very very few ever wind up on a ventilator.

Even if we had 5 billion HCQ pills now to give everybody for preventative use, nobody would wind up immune and there'd be a stronger case for Bill Gates' vaccine.

That's a great analysis, this is the kind of stuff that the new task force for getting people back to work should be analyzing. I have never gotten the flu vaccine, nor the flu and will not be taking Gates' vaccine.

I know I've never gotten a flu shot, never really thought about it. I can't say if I've ever gotten the flu or not.

I hope the Church as a whole recognizes the peril of Gates' plan. That might have no bearing on your aversion. Have you seen the comparison to animals infected and then given 4 different vaccines in China vs the people filmed dropping dead in the streets?

Yes, I've seen the footage of the people dropping dead in China in the middle of the street. Almost looks staged, but who the heck knows. I'm in Long Island which is now considered a hot bed. We're social distancing, but not like not leaving our houses. People are starting to get antsy so this can't last too much longer or there will be a revolt especially with the nice weather coming.

One study was looking at 1 HCQ tablet every 3 weeks for prophylactic use (also included daily Vitamins A, C, D and Zinc); in contrast did I read that a therapeutic treatment regimen is a dose daily for 10 days? If that is true that only a singe prophylactic dose is required and effective for that long, then why couldn't we at least start using it as a prophylactic for our first responders and medical staff. We could protect 3 million workers for 6 weeks, for only 6 million doses, which gets us past the peaks and into when HCQ production and delivery should be in full swing. I think first responders and medical personnel being provided with that extra precaution would help to easy a lot of worry around the nation.

Hi!

I've read that our healthcare workers and first responders are offered HCQ for preventative use. I don't know if that's true and I'm fairly sure it's not universally true. For example NYC have 18,000 cops out sick with Wuflu, and I don't know how many dead.

I'd like to see all those workers offered it, and I expect enough would decline to have a sufficient control group. This should be done while collecting data so we can learn something about effectiveness in this application. At least one large study is planned in NY, but they haven't even started accepting applications yet.

No rush, Governor.

I'd like to see truck drivers as the next priority. They distribute stuff over a wide area on purpose, we really don't want them infected.

We had 9 million HCQ pills donated to the US some time back. I'm thinking anybody that's been on a preventative dose has a supply from then.

Standard preventative dose for malaria: 1 .5 g pill a week

Dr Zelenko is trying starting with 1 200 mg per day for 5 days, and also 1 for just 2 days. In both cases follow with 1 per week.

So if a person were given a packet of 15 the way they come, they could try the preventative use and if they got sick increase the dose. The most he gave anybody that was really sick in his latest trial was 14. End medication after 5 days.

Not just end the worry but end the crisis!
