Look back a week or so on this forum. Endless claims of hydroxychloroquine having a "100% cure rate" for COVID-19, downvote brigades going after anyone who dared disagree. And then there are the conspiracy theories claiming Dr. Fauci wants to prevent people from getting the miracle-cure hydroxychloroquine because [fill in the conspiracy]. Past couple of days, it's been that he's in league with Bill Gates, and wants to help Gates control the world through vaccines, so he's helping Gates by denying that hydroxychloroquine is a miracle cure, because if it was, then the world wouldn't need a vaccine.

Gates is on the record discounting both HCQ and direct antibody treatments, and claiming that a vaccine is the solution, and the vaccination must come with a certificate before someone came reenter society. He is also involved in a program exploring chipping people. That's established.

But there's a downside to people believing and spreading the idea that it's a reliable "cure". Because as soon as people believe that, they move on to discrediting anyone who points out that it's not, and in some cases to spreading conspiracy theories about people who point out, truthfully, that it's not.
Dr. Fauci is knocking himself trying to help reduce the impact of this pandemic on our country, President Trump clearly trusts him and is relying on him for highly qualified help, and yet the guy is getting trashed all over forums like this one. Trashing good people who are doing good work for the Trump administration is the Democrats' and socialists' key strategy for weakening President Trump and advancing their freedom-killing agendas. I will not sit by quietly while Trump supporters get sucked into participating in this trashing.

The medicine is safe to use since it has been used extensively since 1950. The troops in the Vietnam war were given it for the time they were in country. I should know since I was there.

everyone here knows how safe chloroquine is as it's been around for 50yrs. no serious side effects. many testimonies already of people who had covid19, who were at the stage of hard breathing(the one that kills in covid) finally able to breath easy due to hcq+zpak combos THAT THEIR DOCTORS gave them.
