Zoroaster was a cool dude. Fun fact: American researcher went to his supposed stomping grounds to try to learn more about him or Zoroastrianism. The locals wanted him to teach THEM.

Moral of this story: nobody knows much about Zoroastrianism. He was a cool guy though. Both he and ayurvedic religions are ancient, not new. Not sure if we know which is older

Ancient Persia. I think legend says which part of the mountains, if not which particular cave(s) he lived in. If you think of our comic strips with the wise man on the top of a mountain, and mix that with a caveman ...

Amusing that I prefer calling it Wuhan virus because it's more specific than China virus, but I've never been to China. Persia was a big place too but I can't get any more specific than just "Persia" lol

No problem! Feel free to probe anything I say. Just realize I'll talk from what I know, not necessarily furnish links. I try to accommodate the "sauce" people by bookmarking stuff, but mostly I do that for my own edification, if something is so good I want to be able to refer to it later.

People conquered by the Persians might disagree with you about Persians being good people. No small chunk of the Bible covers some history like that. It reads much differently when you read the parts that are history like they're history, written from the perspective of that group of 12 tribes.

I've never compared that historical account with others from the same period, it might be interesting

Sounds like new age nonsense. Not all religions are man made.

Jesus Christ started the Catholic church himself.

Matthew 16:18 And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Thus began 2000 years of unbroken apostolic succession of the Catholic Church.

It was literally directed by Jesus to start, hence the verse. No other Church has St. Peter in their succession via this directive straight from Christ. The rest were "inspired" as you put it.
