Same old BS. Every time and stress happens in privlaged christian lives they imagine it’s the end of the world ... I know, because I’m a Christian and a deacon.

I can’t tell you how many times in my life I’ve heard this emotion based “prophetic” BS. Certain denominations really encourage it, and that’s why it’s generally women and emotionally unstable men who are “prophesying”

I can't say that some rapture dreams aren't just normal dreams, and some may even be lies. But as someone who has the Holy Ghost, willingly lying feels bad, I mean he really convicts me of my sins. I just couldn't do it. When I do lie, which happens occasionally, it's in the moment and I regret it afterwards.

What denominations push end times stuff & what denomination are you?

I’m f-ing terrified of the end times as I’m 22 & it’s not fair that if it comes I haven’t really even lived yet.

Many do. Charismatic denominations push way more “prophetic visions” of all kinds...

Yep, many young christian including myself felt that way.... when the Church always pushes that message of fear and apocalypse. You were trained up in fear I’m sure

They never really discussed the end times much at the SBC Church I grew up in, but since I ended up being LGBTQ affirming & sex positive I donate & listen to Blue Ocean Faith (left-wing in a sense but still very helpful and the absolute opposite of end times scary stuff).

I still have end times paranoias but I should watch less Alex Jones & stop following Q Anon bullcrap.
