You know how many morons I’ve seen wearing their masks like this (dust mask, n95, plain hospital mask) in public? I had a lady tell me she was high risk as she was wearing a mask like this. One, if you’re truly high risk, why the fuck are you out of the house buying marijuana? Two, if this is what you think a proper fit is for the mask, you’ve probably already caught whatever and are now passing it around. China virus doesn’t scare me, though. What does scare me is if we get some current year version of the Black Plague, stupid people like this are going to take the same ‘precautions’...
I get that. Now see from my perspective, that person coming in every 3-4 days to ‘stock up for the next two weeks’. See! The guy who comes in coughing (sans mask) who says he swears he had the virus, but indica cured him. Witness! The individuals who just stopped by because they were bored. Observe! The miraculous anger that appears out of the ether when 26% just isn’t enough! Be confounded when! ...and so on. Some wearing scarves wrapped around their face, some wearing masks they pull down when it’s time to talk.
It lowers the probability of a little water droplet from someone speaking landing in your mouth. CDC also said scarves work. I think I'll trust the actual doctors :)
