Cosmos itself started as a decent show, until about episode 12 or 13 of the first season where Tyson started lecturing about "mankind's addiction to fossil fuels". Then I was like, "imma head out". Talk about actual proven science, not leftist propaganda.
The show was created by Carl Sagan's liberal widow and Seth MacFarlane so there's where the liberal bullshit comes from.
As a mechanical engineering who dabbles in space propulsion technology, watching modern astronomy taught is agonizing bcz its 95% theory and consistently changing models. But watch him or others these days and "black hole is this.." and "this quasar does this.." which none of is provable. Its misleading and bad for open mindedness to new minds to think new ideas.
All with dramatically elongated annunciations of the word so make it all the more annoying.
It's because it's all based on bullshit and only provable through their very convoluted math equations. It's like modern art. Unless you know it's bullshit you simply don't get it and are a pleb to them. It's an exclusive group on purpose because only those "on the team" are able to get published.

How on Earth did you draw that conclusion from what I said? How did you get "Faking Rockets to Space" from a proposal for alternative propulsion and guidance systems for Atmospheric and Space travel?

I thought it was cool too at first but watched some episode the other day and couldn't stand it. You have a guy who claims to be a scientist acting like trees are concious thinking beings. Saying that bees are highly trained mathematicians who love astronomy. I just couldn't believe what I was hearing. THis is consistent with the left being oh so scientific but having no scentific understanding whatsoever.. They believe truth over facts for sure.
I’m all for moving towards “cleaner” energy, but do people like him not realize fossil fuels pulled us out of the archaic dark ages?
