What IS happening is that Governor Blackface wanted to extended this period until June 10--the literal day after the Republicans were to have their Congressional Convention.

The current quarantine clearly isn’t helping at risk people very much, which based on the numbers, are a very small portion of the population. This isn’t worth tanking the world economy over. Shut down international flights, quarantine those at risk and encourage those with the virus or symptoms to stay home, encourage people to work from home when they can. All that’s fine. But this is literally putting untold millions out of work, which is a real issue when you’re not sitting on 100s of millions of dollars like the people telling everyone to stop working.

Its a "not lockdown" where a bunch of poor businesses are closed. Cant get a haircut, cant go to the gym, shooting range, etc.
So sorry that some of your recreational activities have been curtailed for public safety.

You say "our status hasn't changed since the start". Lots of businesses closed, entire school year cancelled, too. So, clearly that is not true.
LOL, having "lots of businesses" closed is not "lock down." Neither is having schools closed, which is true pretty much everywhere. Calm down.
