Giving away important positions of Medicine and science to non-citizens? We are not giving Americans a fair chance. Why do we pay for a foreign poor person's education in medicine, and not a poor American's education in medicine? When things like this happen, they go back to their 'home country' to take care of their people.. We have to take care of OUR home country first.
I was once a pre-med student. I probably would have made a great doctor but I was not a great student at the time. However, I met a lot of fantastic students who would have made great doctors. Quite a few of them never made it into medical school because it is very competitive and there are limited seats. If we have a doctor shortage in the USA, we should be building medical schools and educating these great people who were on the bubble. Instead, we just issue H1Bs and import foreign educated doctors so we can get them cheap. It's criminal.
I'm not an advocate for bigger government, but my local trade school's medical assistant program limits the number of students who can enter in order to keep the demand for their services up.
I understand the reason for the limits. But when we needed more doctors, we imported them instead of training them. There are a lot of intelligent people right here in the USA who could have filled those jobs if they had a seat in a medical school. But I agree by all means not to have unlimited enrollment in medical school.
The AMA (Doctors) limit those seats in medical schools drastically. It’s to keep their salaries in the mid $300,000’s. The AMA lobbies hard to keep foreign physicians out. Imagine if tech workers did the same thing.
As a tech worker, I would love it if they did. While I have had a pretty solid career, there are areas of tech I would love to have switched to except they've been flooded out by cheap labor.
On the issue of doctors, I believe the scam there is they bring in the foreign doctors on H1Bs since there is supposedly a shortage of people willing to provide services to rural areas. It's another version of "jobs Americans won't do".
Many of them end up in the city once they're done pretending they were willing to do the rural work.
My own primary care physician came in on H1B. He was supposed to work in a small town doing rural care but the person/group who sponsored him exploited him and forced him to work in the city where they could bill at a higher rate, then they were not paying him. He had to sue them to stop the fraud.
I believe many American students would take the rural jobs if they could get into medical school. Perhaps an ROTC-like rotation would work there: we pay your tuition and you have to give us x number of years in a rural location or forfeit your license to practice.
China, like India, doesn't allow dual citizenship. If you get US citizenship, you have to renounce your old one. If you want to see how loyal a Chinese worker is to the USA, see if they will actually renounce their old citizenship.
Expel all Chinese Nationals here for any reason.
If you're not actively pursuing citizenship and willing to never go back to China, you can go back now and never return.
We don't need or want your ilk! You cannot be trusted and should not benefit from the USA.

Because we've allowed fools, clowns and traitors to lead us.
The sooner we stop, the sooner it gets better.

Hire Boers.
They will appreciate being able to stay alive even if you pay them a little less (don't enslave them, obviously).
They know farming.
They will fit in.
I'd be okay with bringing them in en masse -- but only them.
I'd shut down immigration by about 90% and only take in South African farmers.
We need more automation. Not more illegal aliens or H-2A workers on our farms!

They get dual citizenship. They can still be loyal to China and hold both citizenships. End dual citizenship now and deport them all.
Chinese and Indians aren't allowed to have dual citizenship. They will lose theirs if they acquire US citizenship.
