I would love to know what the safe and dignified way of dragging someone out of their household is. Maybe black bagging them? Or hiring an actor to pretend to be their spouse and demand a divorce and immediate separation? Having the police show up everyday to tell them off for not complying?
Edit: I feel I should say, this is almost certainly true, but I would rather be there to take care of my spouse if she got sick, and likewise for her with me. Imagine how awful it would be if you isolated, then your spouse died without you there, all for fear over your own life. It just can't be worth it.
At first I thought, cool, carribean cruises. Let the sick convalesce in dignity and warm weather. But then I remembered the Island and realized this was all a Chinese plot to create paranoia and cover for "removal and isolation" of people who could just as well be sick with a cold. Once taken, you won't see your relatives again, they'll have "regrettably" passed from the virus, their bodies cremated to prevent contagion and their organs harvested to replace the stocks depleted by Trump's covert police actions in north korea and Mexico....
