Well, this isn't entirely true. I voted yesterday in Wisconsin and there was a mixture of traditional poll workers and national guard at the polling place. But, yes, I am grateful that the guard stepped up to help! FYI, the doors were propped open so that no one had to touch them, there was tape on the floor at 6 ft. intervals to keep those waiting at a "proper" distance, the pen I used to mark my ballot was disinfected after use for the next voter, and voting booths were spaced significantly apart. I actually felt more safe there than I would at any grocery store. So to the state democrats crying that the Republicans will have "blood on their hands" for all those that die from voting I say go eff yourselves.
