It's contagious too! In the Corporate and Government environment A's will hire A's but once lower end personnel get into positions of power it becomes B's will hire C's so as to not interfere with their status. Lesser will always choose lesser. Never an Equal or Better.

I'm stuck in a bad situation I'll choose to listen to those who are smarter and more experience than me and perhaps follow one as the leader so I can survive the Desert/Ocean/Deserted Island scenario.

Example was on the first (and only episode I watched) of Survivor. They had an Ex Navy Seal with them and he tried to tell them "What we all need to do first is Find Water and then Make Shelter" and everything else is second. They Ignored him. Stopped watching as I knew it would just be dumbfuckery for the rest of the show.
