Look at Africa now. How many hundreds of thousands of years have people lived in the continent of Africa? All that time, and they've never gotten it right.
Granted, the United States did help Japan rebuild, but the United States, and western countries the world over, have been trying to help Africa build a functioning civilization, and what kind of thanks do we get? We get the situation in Zimbabwe, and now South Africa.
If they want to cling to bitterness and resentment, let them. Let them do it without us.
