this is the dark side of states rights, you get a president that says "crisis under control, get back to work but be safe", and just to spite him and think they know better, NeverTrump governors will continue to hold their states hostage for at least another month and then direct blame at Trump. something has to be done to overrule them if they resist

something has to be done to overrule them if they resist

It was already done. It's called the First Amendment (see: Freedom of Assembly).

Something should have bone done a week ago Monday:

It's go time NOW! Removal of all Governors repeating Cuomo's mistake of denying medicine to sick people unless they're already in such bad shape they're already in the hospital. 40 million doses of HCQ have been donated to US. Monday 3/30 we had more than enough to give to everybody in every category:

those tested positive (160,000)

those already infected but don't know it yet (statistically another 30%, so 48,000) everybody those 48,000 will infect.

Those already on HCQ long term.

I packet of 15 pills for each person is good. Some people might do better with 2 more; sort that out out later. Most of these people would be virus-free in 6 days. Really hard to spread this when you're virus-free!

Last Monday 4/6 we still have enough to do all that, we needed 11 million, but by next Monday we'll need more. By not treating the sick their numbers will exceed what we have and this continues to spiral out of control. You can tell if your Governor is a mass murderer by looking at the number of peopled recovered in your State. It's obvious when Trump pills aren't being given to people, even though the Governor hasn't officially declared that as policy. These mass murderers have to go NOW! At every State Capitol, drones and boomsticks, torches and pitchforks. No need for violence. I believe I could have the Police guards at the metal detectors glad to see We the People doing the right thing; we shouldn't be hoarding 40 million pills that were donated to US. The world is counting on US! If instead the Police decide to start some shit I'll certainly take the first bullets and fight hand to hand; guarantee I'll disable some weapons. At a distance of 20 feet or less the unarmed man has the advantage unless they already have a bead on you. Only a few of the first people could get shot, the rest of the throng just overwhelms them taking control of the weapon first then the rest take out the legs and bring them down. Still no need for anyone to get hurt. Governors get due process; tried as mass murderers. People get medicine, this crisis is brought under control, people are back to work in about a week. Should've happened already, by Governors not being mass murderers. The only legitimacy any government ever had on this continent was the consent of the governed. Do we consent to THIS?

This will end at some point t. If I have my rights violated or someone else does, let's sue the department t and officers involved. I was a cop for 12 years and most do the job well but the ones who do not need to be hammered

Totally agree. I’m hoping Trump has some incentives or ideas to get the governors on board with letting businesses reopen.

He's been working them from every angle for weeks now. Some get the sugar (Newsom, DeSantis) some get the spice (Whitmer) some get a little of both (Cuomo).

When this is all over, I think the story of how he got the governors to work together is going to stand out as one of the three key actions that saved this country. (The other two being closing down travel from China and Italy and his HCQ campaign.)

State rights don’t supersede my individual liberty.

2
Thearchduke 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think that "the people" have the privilege of overruling the tyrannical governors. It isn't the "dark side of states' rights"; it's the people being used to a federal government that would intervene when even their own games got ridiculous. Now, when their behavior becomes ludicrous, the Deep State just doubles down with their propaganda and oppression.

3

There is NO legal basis or precedent to shut down even one whole community! You can legally quarantine the sick, but not the healthy. when your rights are trampled:

As the virus winds down, more red states will go back to work and things will be ok. But many blue states will remain on lockdown for political reasons. This will shortly fail, as their citizens will be able to see what is happening in the red states. And there will be a political price to pay for that.

Gov. Abbot just shut down EVEN MORE shit in Travis county, because muh 522 cases.

**220,000 people that are unemployed in this county alone, with a population of 1,200,000 people, fucking insane. **

Saw the metrics for Hotel and Hospitality workers, sitting at 89.1% unemployment.

Okay Ironsides, nice press conference talking about "being good on personal protection for healthcare workers".

Texas is a powder keg to be honest

3
HockeyMom4Trump 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes and we currently have 483 cases of Covid (We have over 1,000 confirmed cases, but hundreds are recovered/no longer in quarantine and then subtracted the 39 deaths). So out of 5.7 million people we have 483 active cases and are shut down basically another month. That percentage is so low! Not to mention, we have a viable treatment we should be giving people at the onset of symptoms-HCQ, Z Pak, Zinc. This is total BS and I am over being hoodwinked.

I’m in Arkansas. Many online-voices are FURIOUS that we don’t have a stay at home order.

But all the non-essential businesses are already closed. Parks are closed. Stores are limiting their number of customers. The only thing an “order” would do is give police the power to issue fines and arrests. And that’s very possible to cause more problems like protests.

3
HockeyMom4Trump 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yeah, those people ranting about it need to calm down

2
Mighty_MAGA_Muse [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Police in the NE sector are loving this. Arresting a PA guy in front of 6 yr old in an empty park. Pa citizens being fined for driving across borders. Plenty of police state news coming out.

6
The_Peter 6 points ago +6 / -0

There's a bunch of statewide lock downs but does anyone know of a "Stay at Home Order Reporting" website like they have in Wichita, KS?

It's like we've gone from somewhat normal to losing our minds and becoming informants to the Stasi.

3
HockeyMom4Trump 3 points ago +3 / -0

Oh yes. Minnesota has a hotline and an e-mail address to let the gestapo know teenagers are playing basketball in the park. We have park patrols that can be dispatched to “educate” offenders. Clown World. Honk Honk

Would running for mayor or governor on the position that you wouldn't abuse your power but instead trust the people to use their best judgement be a tenable position to run on?

I said that Sunday 3/29! Posted it like crazxy, I'd be surprised if you haven't seen it:

Last Monday we still had enough to do all that but needed quite a bit more, 11 million. By this coming Monday if we do, it's only because DJT bought 29 million more. Failing to adopt this policy means this continues to spiral out of control. You can tell if your Governor is a mass murderer by looking at the number of peopled recovered in your State. It's obvious when Trump pills aren't being given to people, even though the Governor hasn't officially declared that as policy. These mass murderers have to go NOW! Coordinated mass gatherings at every State Capitol, (or Mansion, whichever's better) torches, pitchforks, and whatever else we have. No need for violence. 3
Side_of_Beef_Chucker 3 points ago +3 / -0

Also a VA pede, can confirm, Coonman is ass hoe.

4
Wardge 4 points ago +4 / -0

Okie pede here.

My county has had one confirmed case which happened last week and they have already recovered.

EVERYTHING non-essential has been closed for almost a month, maybe more. We had a free testing drive last week as well. Fifty people got tested and all tests came back negative. It's time we start opening some businesses back up. I'm thankful I work an essential job but my friends and family, however, do not.

3
Tallgingergirl 3 points ago +3 / -0

Same in Iowa. My county has zero confirmed cases and none around us. We are also thankful that my husband works at an essential job, but we need to open up. This is silly

3
OGAmerica 3 points ago +3 / -0

Iowa has closed lots.

2
Tallgingergirl 2 points ago +2 / -0

Mostly everything is closed here beside essential businesses, but no stay at home order "yet"... I have been very thankful for that

2
Razeontherock 2 points ago +2 / -0

WI has no stay at home order. Most sites report we do. Our's is "safer at home," I don't know if any other State has made that difference? Basically we're not penalized if we go out. People are being sensible though.

3
snuggs316 3 points ago +3 / -0

i wish prez maga had "citizen journalists" or simply citizens sitting in at the press conferences...bc we need to have a national conversation about the rights and liberties that governors and mayors are irrationally imposing upon....draconian fines for not wearing face masks in public, arrested: for playing t-ball with wife/kid in open park, away from others. paddle boarding solo. walking in neighborhood, alone. (this one has a snitch factor). citing people in cali for parking at the beach and staying in their cars. trying to take control of the dispensing of meds. piss poor preparation for emergencies. using taxpayer/federal funds for illegals. ignoring the nastiness of their homeless problems for months/years and then using taxpayer funds to put the homeless up in hotels.

all of this needs to be addressed.

3
Razeontherock 3 points ago +3 / -0

Put the Governors practicing medicine without a license at the top of the list please. They are repeating Cuomo's mistake of denying sick people medicine, unless you're in such bad shape you need to be put in the hospital. All doing this are mass murderers! It's also the way to prolong the crisis as much as possible.

3
silentsupporter 3 points ago +3 / -0

It’s so annoying the Gov Parsons (MO) caved to the pressure to close. You legitimately cannot put a blanket order like that on this state. We are a rural, farming state with a couple of cities. It just doesn’t make sense.

2
Razeontherock 2 points ago +2 / -0

That is correct. What's even worse is if he's repeating Cuomo's mistake of denying sick people medicine. Only give Trump pills to people in such bad shape they need to be admitted to the hospital? So practically a death sentence. They only admit you if you already have pneumonia, which means if you don't need a ventilator they think you're at risk of needing one soon. Once on a ventilator your chances of survival are about 50/50. And permanent lung damage is virtually guaranteed with Wuflu. And you'll likely have other organ damage, in which case you likely won't survive 2 years.

Whereas on Trump pills all breathing problems are gone in 2 days, most are virus-free in 6 days, and almost nobody needs to go to the hospital.

The difference is stark, and you can tell what policy your Governor has implemented by looking at the number of people recovered in your State. In WI that is TWO. Over 60 dead. These governors just aren't announcing this as official policy, but they're repeating Cuomo's mistake. They're mass murderers!

Not to mention that it's illegal to quarantine the healthy.

3
TheBigKahuna 3 points ago +3 / -0

Well, true. But, most of the governors are Republicans.

This kind of stuff reminds me of Braveheart. I'm thinking that the next step will be "Prima Nocte".

2
Razeontherock 2 points ago +2 / -0

Just remove the Governors from Office. Torches and pitchforks, and whatever else we have. 1,000's at every State Capitol all at the same time.

0
Cant-Standja 0 points ago +3 / -3

Bullshit. It's alignment with recommendations by the federal gov.

Abbott, in my and The Great State of Texas aligns completely with Trump. As soon as Trump says drop it, Abbot will.

And for the record, it is against the constituion. None of the lcoal laws on this stay at home are legal. However, I followed them to help the Presidents effort, as well as have common sense.

FTW. ^ <^ ^^

6
Mr_Dr_Jullian_Dunbar 6 points ago +6 / -0

dude, it's all talk at this point as Abbot keeps shutting shit down.

Travis County has 522 cases with 1.2 million people living in it, and 220k unemployed in less than a month.

10.5 million in Austin tax "emergency reserves" going to straight up illegals and he held a presser talking about personal protection equipment.

Die hard Texas Republican my whole adult life - campaigned for Ron Paul in 08' and 12', and MANY MANY of us are sick of it.

1
Cyer6 1 point ago +2 / -1

I live here and can't find anything about what direction Texas may take. I think when Trump gives the thumbs up AND Texas' numbers on the virus are looking good, they'll open it up.

2
HockeyMom4Trump 2 points ago +2 / -0

So when will the lawsuits roll in?

3
Razeontherock 3 points ago +3 / -0

The problem with lawsuits is who pays them? We the People. Now if they're tried as mass murderers ...

2
Razeontherock 2 points ago +2 / -0

DJT hasn't directed anything that violates the Constitution, or any law. It is purely Governors and Mayors that have shut down our economy. There is NO legal basis to shut down even 1 whole community. It is legal to quarantine the sick, but not the healthy.

-6
lmao -6 points ago +1 / -7

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlvb4p15DhE&t=44m58s

Explain this then

they're doing what we're asking them to do without having to put the seal on it

3
Razeontherock 3 points ago +3 / -0

DJT has given no directive that violates the Constitution or even comes close to it. He was talking about medical response. He also gave away the rough number of ventilators in the national stores, which has previously been guarded like it was some national security issue; I always thought that was ridiculous. The point is we have way more ventilators than we could ever possibly need for this plannedemic.
