Just a hunch based on feeling and history but after this over, I’m expecting a huge economic and social boom after we get back to work

Now I was born in 1990 but based on history of historical downturns (Carter Era, Bush Sr) etc,. a boom usually happens

I think the economy will EVENTUALLY shoot the roof, DOW way above 30k, more music, more parties, everything will all sound and feel better

Thoughts?

My ESOP got bought out and rolled over into the market last Friday. Can't wait to watch it take off.

It will, but what I'm seeing in my industry is, the smart people are making upgrades and repairs during the downtime, the people hiding in the corner not taking advantage of the loans aren't spending a dime, the problem for the future? There is going to be a huge fracture in the supply chain. Those people not getting their HVAC etc taken care of now, will not have parts and replacements when they are ready to open in may, as it heats up, they won't be able to open then.

Yup. I work in manufacturing specializing in automation. Our company mainly supplies automotive and most of our hourly workers are laid off for now, but we are working on projects, maintenance and upgrades. We will be in great shape when things pick back up.

My companies who supply us are already seeing a parts from China problem to build their equipment, this is where our problem will be. Demand and no supply.

I was talking about this today with my mother in law. I said that I bet the Black Friday sales this year will be insane, then I said that once stores open back up that many will have a "Black Friday in July" type event to help businesses get back on their feet.
