It's a fascinating look into how batshit crazy and greasy the 'exotic animal' enthusiasts are. It's like if you combined Hunter S. Thompson, John McAfee, and Siegfried & Roy.

Everyone in the show is a total piece of work. They're all clearly fucked in the head and are totally amoral greedy assholes. Joe Exotic only barely comes across as the least-fucked-up person on the show.
