Just wanted to share some small successes. I'm actually really proud of it.

On our social media thread. One particular family member conservative, but in a blue state, in a deeply blue area -- so not a pede, but shows potential -- shares a story about herd immunity. This was shared as a way, I bet, to convince us and the family and maybe himself that quarantine will end soon. Every so often he drops questions/texts about having the family meeting together to have a beer after the curve flattens. He wants to get back to old normal. None of this new normal.

So I joke along these lines. We won't be meeting till December. "After the election. Maybe." The curve could flatten all they want. But if the state see's a surge or potential increase, we are back under lock down. I make a joke letting him know that he's gonna be his kids teacher until he graduates. All the subjects.

Anyway, let him make the connection on how our blue state will choose interpret how to enforce it. Then I end up texting other things. The drone in NY. The cops arresting the dad in Colorado in front of this daughter. LA mayor saying snitches get rewards. WHO member saying they need to go into homes and separate family with dignity. Let that stew for awhile.

Then the real text comes in. Fun solution. We should get COVID-19 antibody ID/passports (You got COVID. You got antibodies. You are immune) so we could be allowed by authorities to break curfew. Roaring agreement. Guess what I'm texting next?

Maybe a Photoshop of pictures about armbands. Physical identifiers to make it easier for everyone and authorities. Maybe from one of their favorite anime's Attack on Titan. With covid-19 stuff on it.
