Mostly self-inflicted. These are not happy doers. These are people who rely. They rely on games and anime and movies and comic books to keep them stable. They rely on things in society being super duper flowing along so they can get by, and absorb themselves in the aforementioned bullshit. Never met a land-owning, off-grid, self-sufficient Sanders supporter, and almost certainly never will. But culturally hypnotized gamers, heshers, grubby losers, people who think their cleanest hoodie counts as being well-dressed? All day, everywhere in any American city, packed in close in shitty apartments. Or alternately, the soft-handed, strangely weak professor across the street who did manage to buy himself a house but is letting his wife dress their son up like a girl. Proud Bernie supporters.
