Gives credence to the theory that this has been in the US a lot longer than we thought. As far back as October, even?

If that's the case, people are gonna get pissed upon finding that out. It's been here for 6 months and only now we're giving a shit? Everything was fine before then, yeah?

Hell I was just in Seattle in November. I know that isn't Cali, but could I have come into contact with someone that had it?

Would explain the plummeting death projections.

2.2 mil, to 220k, to 80k, to 60k in less than a month. Wtf.

I live in socal and- anecdotal but- I and a lot of people I know think we had it already in December/January. I NEVER get the flu and in mid December was sick for almost 3 weeks with all of the apparent covid symptoms. Two people I know were tested for influenza a and b w the same symptoms and told both were negative and they had some kind of “other unknown flu.” I would love to get this test and go out and help people if I’m ok. I’ve long wondered why we focus so much on testing for current infection I think it would be most beneficial to getting the country back on track to test for immunity. But I guess that’s my answer.

My sister was sick in Dec 2019 for about a month in AZ, with similar symptoms. We should crowd source this and find some stats.

Rush has been talking about this today and he said he mentioned it last Thursday too. Then he played a clip from Thursday a week ago talking about CA immunity. We need to get the word out on this. Please help and let all your Cali Pedes know. Herd immunity plus hydroxychloroquine and we win the virus is done. We are free again.

I live in So Cal. We are all shuttered in, waiting for CA to have more COVID-19 cases than NY or anywhere else. Instead, it's not happening. I'd been asking friends and family why they thought the virus bomb hadn't exploded in CA. One said he thought we'd all already had it because of the nasty flu that went around. On the radio where I first heard about the Stanford study, they said the virus could have been here earlier than Nov. Plus, they said, CA had been reporting a worse flu here than the rest of the country for months. Pedes, if you get more news on this please post it. CA wants out of confinement. We all do.

Herd immunity doesn't make sense with a new disease.
