I get the idea of vaccines for things like measles, polio, chickenpox, etc. where it's one shot for life, with the goal of eventually eradicating the disease altogether. But the flu shot, were it's a new shot every year forever, count me out, thanks.
Agreed. The flu shot is also based on guesswork because it mutates every year and there are usually 2 strains of it. So even if they guess 1 strain correct, you can still get the other one. I've only had the flu once and everyone in my family got it. Half had had the flu shot and the other half hadn't had it..... everyone got it. I've never gotten it again.
I feel like they're mainly targeting our children. Many schools mandate children receive vaccines before even starting. In NY, they're pushing to mandate the HPV vaccine in school children. Why does my son, who has Autism along with other medical conditions, need the friggin HPV vaccine?
It's sickening and many parents are fighting it. I hope it goes in our favor. Unfortunately we have too many Democrats in leader positions in NY. Makes me sick.
