It's like the white people who make a show of how bad white people they are to show they're one of the good ones. The people who decide who the Extra Good People are told them to do that, so they go hard until they actually believe it.

On the plus side, I'm seeing less and less of that type of response, though. Of course, it took years of humiliating themselves with their retardation to get there.
