Here's a real life proof from one of my Facebook "friends"

orange man bad...

Last words of terminal TDS sufferers everywhere gasping for breath after they refuse to take chloroquine for a very treatable condition.

myswedishfriend 18 points ago +18 / -0

My sides. The President isn't a medical doctor. He didn't invent HCQ; he's not the one who thought to use it. He simply relayed a message of hope.

And now, solely because of the left's criticism of Trump for mentioning it, HCQ is now "Trump's cure" in everyone's mind. Trump owns this for absolutely no reason at all other than a huge backfire on the part of the media.

What a timeline.

7
JamesSunderland 7 points ago +7 / -0

They should've realized this would happen. This is not remotely the first time he was right about something. TDS gives you a bad memory..

TDS is the real pandemic

5
Cmchn 5 points ago +5 / -0

While I enjoy watching the TDS mob humiliate themselves so much, it's irritating to watch someone make the same obvious mistake over and over again.

based_ob [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

The dankest timeline. This pandemic thing is turning into a blessing in disguise by blowing all the liberal media and deep state bs right out to the open. The deck is getting shuffled. It is a free for all!

Not sure if we should say "recommends." This is kinda their baseline "what the heck, we might as well try it" guidelines. They don't recommend z-pack or zinc here. Interesting.

This is kinda their baseline "what the heck, we might as well try it" guidelines.

What? No it's not. It says it right at the top: Initial treatment algorithm. That's not a "What the hell, we might as well try it", it's "do this first" and all of them say to use HCQ.

They don't recommend z-pack or zinc here

That's because the z pack doesn't actually help against the disease, it just prevents any secondary infections from popping up while you're already sick. It doesn't hurt to take a course of it prophylactically, but it can have some pretty rowdy side effects, so it's not ever going to be a preferred first-line treatment for anything that it doesn't directly kill.

Zinc is a general immune system booster, also used mostly prophylactically and supportively, but not strictly doing anything to the disease.

HCQ is the miracle. If you get on it early, it turns things around almost immediately.

6
ChocktawRidge 6 points ago +6 / -0

It kind of surprises me that the zpack is considered so dangerous. Doc's seem to give out prescriptions for it pretty liberally.

One of the possible side effects of HCQ is an increase in QTc prolongation. Addition of Azithromycin further increases this risk. QT prolongation/Torsades de Pointes is a cardiac arrhythmia which can lead to a number of outcomes, including sudden cardiac death. There are lots of medications and supplements which, in combination increase QT intervals. This is why it is always a good idea to talk to your pharmacist before adding a new medicine or supplement to your daily regimen.

This is wrong from the way i understand it buddy. Zinc stops a virus from creating more of itself by blocking a receptor that attaches to the human cell maybe? In any case, chloroquine is a zinc ionophore which aides the cell in taking the zinc in, thus stopping the virus. Hydroxychloroquine does nothing with having zinc present.

In terms of how the doctors who have pioneered this method currently think it's working, HCQ is the gun, Zinc is the bullet.

At least they are now receptive to cq if only as a last resort, compared to some other medical institutions like UCSD and myriads of ignorant local health bureaucrats all over.

Not to mention eurostan which banned cq altogether while their death rates shot up to double digits.

6
BoughtByBloomberg 6 points ago +7 / -1

It is not banned in Europe. It is restricted the same way New York restricted it to hospital patients only.

Business man like. Oh so you can make me more money in a year but you need 8 months to vet this idea? Other businesses are already doing it to raise their bottom line? You have a month.

This is a little off topic but it looks like this diagram is saying that they will hospitalize you if you have covid, a cough, and a BMI >=30 ?

Because I am sure during allergy season (right now) at least 25% of america qualifies for this shit.

1
based_ob [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not 25% of Americans will get tested, let alone tested positive.

1
JamesSunderland 1 point ago +2 / -1

Yep, the allergies! Pretty soon it'll be impossible to tell by the epidemic of coughing/sneezing/red eyes.

1
HockeyMom4Trump 1 point ago +2 / -1

A BMI greater than 30! Yikes. America is too fat.

2
JamesSunderland 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think that number came from Italy.

1
HockeyMom4Trump 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well, then Italy is too fat! :)

2
JamesSunderland 2 points ago +2 / -0

not anymore!

Boom. Truly a yuge redpill here. Trump was right. The media was not only wrong -- they tried to keep medical treatment out of the hands of the people. They should be fucking arrested.

They're gonna do a lot more research on this drug. As of now the mechanism how it works is unknown. Because I don't think this will be specific for covid19 as it's a virus, but rather the whole cytokine storm and ARDS that other viruses and even bacterial pneumonias can cause. This might be a breakthrough for more than just covid
