My neighborhood is falling into a new habit. Kids are howling at about dusk trying to get all the dogs to howl. This worked well and made a giant ruckus for a few days in a row. Yesterday they tried it, but the dogs are not responding anymore, but get this, now grown-ass adults are screaming and howling instead.
They're too busy airing Instagram thots licking toilets to discredit anyone who says we shouldn't be taking extraordinary measures that do more damage than the virus would.
April 30 is the day. If it goes longer, the media will be reporting something much more dire. The people will eventually force the hands of local government and then, who knows. I hope I'm wrong.
