I saw people saying the same thing, I cant see it. It cuts away too quickly where people saying it stops dostorting but when it replays zoomed in the distortion keeps going until the end.
Unless I'm looking at the wrong thing. I honestly dont know what to think of it.

Crater: Endymion
Lunar Astronautical Chart (LAC) Zone: 14
Lunar latitude: 53.61° N
Lunar longitude: 56.48° E
Diameter: 122 km
Slowing the video to 0.25 playback, I estimate the "craft" to cross the 122 km crater in about 1.5 seconds. They appear to be quite close to the lunar surface, given the shadow clarity. The sun is a 0.5° disk on the sky, so shadows appear blurry when the shadow-producing object and the shadowed object are far apart relative to the umbral cone.
Based on their relative proximity to the lunar surface and comparing to the diameter of Endymion, I estimate the "craft" to be tens of kilometers across.
Given this information, I calculate their speed to be approximately
81 km/s
This is faster than any known solar system body or manmade object. An infalling comet from the Oort cloud, converting its gravitational potential energy to kinetic energy, can attain speeds approaching this value.
It's not out of the question for a spacecraft to get to this velocity with some extra energy from some source, but they are pushing it.
So, the people who faked this video either got lucky with their numbers or did some research to figure out a speed for these "craft" that would appear to be legit.
HOWEVER
The most damning evidence against them is the simple cloud layer that is making the Moon appear "fuzzy" due to diffraction effects. Read on.
It was a cloudy day when they made their video, and they have a significant lack of knowledge of atmospheric optics -- when the "craft" cross over the terminator (day/night dividing line), they are no longer backlit and a symmetric, circular diffraction corona (NOT THE VIRUS lol) should appear surrounding each craft: http://atoptics.co.uk/droplets/corform.htm
It does not. In fact, they photoshopped what appear to be headlights coming from the front of the "craft" ... but upon which particulates surrounding the Moon do they scatter such that we can see them? The Moon has no atmosphere.
Nice video, but the atmospheric optics gave it away.
You're welcome! I hope it didn't come across as condescending. I was not attempting to be like that. I apologize for the sigh; it was uncalled for. But yeah, totally fake video.
Nah man, you're good. No hard feelings here. I started to figure as much the more I read the comments but both sides were saying stuff that made sense.
Like I said though, I just couldn't tell what people were talking about as the distortions I was looking at never went away so I figured I wasnt' looking at the right thing.
Nice. Yeah overall it's well-made but the optics got them, as is the case in most fake CGI videos I have seen. It's quite easy to tell when they get it wrong.
For the record, I am upTrumping all your comments but somebody seems to be salty and is giving the thumbs down. Sad!
It's probably the Ashishishe faggot I pissed off in another thread. Or rather, was already pissed off from being baited by the OPs joke that I tried to explain the humor of the post but that only made him angrier. Insulted me then took glee that I spent so much time explaining shit to him.
But I'm pretty sure he's just a shill because he went unhinged and was already throwing a low energy tantrum. And
I wouldnt be surprised he's downvoting all my comments.
Yeah ,he was angrily calling the post karma farming clickbait and asked how it was any different than clickbait ads. Because a bunch of us thougt it was funny.
So I was trying to explain the difference between the unexpected and legitimately fooled by a post title that turned out to be a joke=dick move but funny(I bit the bait too)vs clickbaity advertisementsand YT thumbnails/title = intelligence insulting as it's painfully obvious.
The poor thing eventually devolved into copy and pasting various insults from the Biden bot or whatever that post was before I decides to finally block him.
at 30 seconds the distortion mysteriously stops. probably fake

What if the Space Force is being rolled out...
... to fight the Lizards in politician skinsuits?
They're coming to save their queen from Trump! We need to find those eggs she coughed up in that glass and destroy them before they can hatch!
I just threw up in my mouth. That footage of her laying her eggs will haunt me until death.
Elon Musk going on a Sunday drive with his buddies.
Jamming out to RADAR RIDER.
Sigh

Nice explanation. Thank you.

Lol imagine being that angry at another person on the internet. They are not sending their best.
Weak.

Super low energy.
He's an angry elf!
