I can't tell if OP is for or against men having the same protections as women. The Violence Against Women Act is total bullshit either way, and both the Democrats and Republicans are to blame for reauthorizing that crappy bill.

The majority of family violence is two way, and the least common is male offender only. Women have the highest rate of self-reported violence against partners and are the most common perpetrators of one-way domestic violence.
