No one is allowed to fail anymore and it starts at a young age. That why under the best economy ever 79% of people live paycheck to paycheck.

Exactly. All these issues are primarily cultural, not political.

To reference an underestimated man: we give in more and more each year to the soft bigotry of low expectations, and then we wonder why everything is still pretty fucky even in Freedomland.

Not sure what you're reasoning is, but a lot of why people live by paycheck is personal choices.

I wouldn't call a business closure due to government mandated shutdown a failure.

And people living paycheck to paycheck is in many cases by choice. Rather than save money, they buy a tv or a boat or expensive clothes.

Correct. We all, at least on this side of the argument, know that they do it by choice because mommy government will help them.
