Putting 17 million people out of work and raising unemployment to 10% in 4 weeks definitely seemed like the most prudent course of action for a disease with a 2% mortality rate, especially when we've known about a viable and low-cost treatment for that disease for 3 out of those 4 weeks. I think we might need to keep tanking our economy for another month or two though, just to really help Joe Biden's election campaign.
