Inhaling dihydrogen monoxide can prove fatal. Ingesting several gallons of dihydrogen monoixide is fatal. Low temperature dihydrogen monoxide is extremely slippery and can result in a fatal fall or vehicle accident. Ban dihydrogen monoxide.

It can also burn you if you heat it up and pour it on yourself.

Trump supports letting your local fireman decide what type of fire it is (wood? grease?) and letting him make the decision how to put it out (usually water).

I've seen similar types of false assumption-analogy arguments concerning catastrophic man-made climate change on reddit. And I get down voted there too when I point out that the argument rests on a faulty assumption (water is always good).

Thousands, if not millions of people die to water related causes EVERYYEAR!!!! IMPEACH TRUMP FOR SUGGESTING WATER WHEN THERES MUCH MORE CARCINOGENIC CHEMICAL WAYS TO EXTINGUISH FIRES!!!

I can think of a useful heuristic to determine who gets in the control group on this one.

Remember, if you light a man a fire, he'll be warm for a few hours.

But if you light a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
