It's not the bamboo as much as the glues that are used when it is side pressed or flat pressed. I've installed many many thousands of sq ft of it and the rashes and sinus infections that I get are brutal.

Ah! I also occasionally install flooring, but cleaning carpet is my thing. As you know this is far more related than it used to be, as most companies that sell and or install carpet now do hard flooring of all types too. As such they know less about any one thing, and bamboo flooring or anything else somewhat new they actually know less about than they let on.

So I'll take it that bamboo flooring no matter where it's from is like the Chinese drywall, you simply don't want it in your home. At l;ast until further notice, that whatever problematic materials have been replaced with stuff that's safe.
