Yes, I am a Union Tradesman. I know, everyone here shits on the Unions, but they cannot separate Federal workers from the real workers.

Unions should not exist in the public sector. Teachers in Chicago making 150k a yr? That is fucking nuts man. Garbage men in Chicago making 120k a yr. Pure nonsense

Makes sense. And is union-covered healthcare more prevalent in the North?

Keep in mind, that we actually pay for our insurance. It is not free. I pay 900 a month for myself and two kids. And to answer your question, there are only a few Labor Union strongholds left in the US. Cheap labor from mexico has fucked up everything. NY, CHI, and parts of Cali are basically all that is left for Trade Unions. There are Factories that are union across the States, but the Right to Work Bills are nothing more than anti union/pro illegal immigrant bullshit.

And just to be fair.. A single dude in my Union pays 900 dollars a month just for himself. I used to be that single guy and I paid it. I didnt complain because my Union brother would do the same for me, and they do. We take care of union brothers and sisters. It is just how it works. We stick together and an absolute shit fucking ton of us love DJT. I see Trump stickers on Gang Boxes every where I go.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The NE of the country is a stronghold, not just NY.
