Chances are he just Executive Ordered the Garden Centers closed, and the store is being SUPER careful to avoid bullshit extortive fines, until they get a conference call done and find out exactly what needs to be closed off. We weren't selling BIRD SEED, because technically it's Dept. 16 (Outdoor Living) until our conference call and we learned that anything inside the main store building can still sell... so we've been moving fucking EVERYTHING into the main store building, because FUCK this shithead and his fucking commie boot on my neck.
I'm in the Soviet of Washington and Fred Meyer and Walmart can sell anything that's in the store. The things we can't do are make keys for people or let them sit their sweaty butts down on the furniture.

Sounds like this is a Governor's decision based on the mistaken notion that this virus is airborne and can therefore travel and infect indefinitely. It can't. It's not airborne. It's not even aerosol. It spreads by DROPLETS. Droplets can travel a max of about 30 feet if it starts with a strong sneeze and has a strong tailwind. Absolutely NO reason you can't be out in your own garden puttering away however you like to keep your sanity and whatever else you like to do this time of year.
